Neeper Named Budget Office's Biggest Loser


In May, the University Budget Office announced Assistant Director of Network Systems Steve Neeper as the winner of its “Biggest Loser” competition.

Neeper shed the most weight by dropping a whopping 21.9 lbs. and beat out 18 of his coworkers as the office’s biggest loser. As part of the Reward and Recognition Team’s wellness function, Lead Applications Programmer/Analyst Stephanie Snook organized the eight-week contest. She offered some helpful tips, provided an office scale, and a means to electronically submit weights for her coworkers.

Neeper donated $150 of his winnings to the local Food Bank in the Budget Office’s name. The remaining $30 provided a celebration for the office.

In June, the 2008-2013 F&B Strategic Plan was published and the full document is viewable online. Heading into the next five years, the plan covers many important areas such as F&B’s framework, guiding principles, and key initiatives.
