Auxiliary and Business Services provides hospitality, event management, student residence services, and business and support services for the University community and the public at large. Auxiliary and Business Services employs approximately 1,200 employees and 3,000 part-time employees across the University system.

Auxiliary and Business Services is directly responsible for the operation and maintenance of: The Bryce Jordan Center, a 16,000-seat arena perched near Beaver Stadium, that is home to Penn State athletic and academic events, as well as head liner entertainment, family, and sporting events; Hospitality Services (The Nittany Lion Inn and The Penn Stater Conference Center Hotel) which brings to the University community and its visitors unparalleled dining and lodging hospitality experiences through the legendary Nittany Lion Inn and the Penn Stater Conference Center Hotel, one of the most technologically advanced university-based facilities in the United States; the Penn State id+ Card Office (student identification program); and Housing and Food Service operations, which offers services at University Park and nine other Penn State locations. Housing offers a variety of living options and amenities like in-room computer hook-ups, cable television, ID card access, and residential computing services. Food Services provides award-winning products and services through an array of operations: campus restaurants, dining commons, JAVA Catering and the Penn State Bakery.

Auxiliary and Business Services is also the provider of support services to the University and includes the areas of Multimedia & Print Center, Procurement and Materials Management, and Transportation Services.

In addition to operating five CopyCentral locations on campus, the Penn State Multimedia & Print Center offers project coordination, printing, mailing, addressing, and design services to the University community. The center is also the only authorized provider of official University stationery, including letterhead, envelopes, and business cards.

Procurement Services provides effective means to procure required goods and services for the University, and administers the areas of Computer Repair, General Stores, Licensing Programs; Purchasing Programs, including the Faculty-Staff Purchasing Card; Lion Surplus, and Travel Services.

The area of Transportation Services under Auxiliary and Business Services oversees parking facilities and parking permit distribution, as well as vehicles for official University travel and an intra-campus transportation system. The division has two subdivisions: Fleet Operations and Parking Office.

The University Park Airport services the needs of the University and surrounding areas.

Employee Ethics and Compliance Hotline
Address your concerns about workplace issues anonymously with the Ethics and Compliance Hotline. This service will assist you with problems including financial matters such as fraud, theft, conflict of interest, and other violations of University policy, including research compliance matters, discrimination, athletics-compliance issues, and more. The hotline is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week at 1-800-560-1637.
