New Videoconferencing Program Saves Time and Money
There is an easier, safer, quicker, and more environmentally friendly way to hold meetings at Penn State.
Adobe Connect Professional is a videoconferencing program that allows employees to hold meetings from the comfort of their office, their home, or anywhere else in the world with an Internet connection. The software can accommodate two to several hundred people and it provides many tools to hold an efficient and successful meeting experience.
Penn State employees can save a trip across campus or even across the state by holding meetings through Adobe Connect. The program features application sharing, live polling, and presentation capabilities. A whiteboard is also available to create illustrations for those connected to the meeting.
The program is great for group meetings and training sessions. When scheduling a meeting, all the meeting organizer has to do is send the invited attendees a URL to the meeting space. Those invited will need the Flash plug-in to connect to the service. All communication is in real time. It’s easier than ever to communicate from office to office, building to building, or even campus to campus.
